Friday February 17 is the day we've all been waiting for: the return of Beppe Gambetta guitarist extraordinaire from Italy! The first time I heard Beppe was at JustGoods Listening Room where the Web presented him back in 2007. The first thing that struck me about him was his smile, (followed almost immediately by his red shoes), but this was only because he wasn’t on stage yet. As soon as he took the stage, it was clear that this artist was not only an extraordinary guitarist, but also an extraordinary performer. He captured the attention of us all and did not let go until after giving us our demanded encore.

Saturday February 25 we'll take a trip to the Green Isle as Celtic harpist Patrick Ball weaves his leprechaun lore.Whether in the stronghold of a Galway chieftain in the years before history began or yesterday in the snug corner of a pub in Dublin, the Irish have always delighted in storytelling. And always, amidst the storytelling, there was music. Jigs, reels and haunting airs graced the spaces between the tales. And first among Irish instruments and the most honored, was the legendary Celtic harp. With its crystalline, bell-like voice and lavish resonance, it would soothe its listeners and lead them deeper into the realms of the imagination. In Celtic Harp and Story Patrick Ball rekindles the fire and wonder of an evening of Irish storytelling. For in telling the marvelous old tales of wit and enchantment, and in playing the ancient, brass-strung harp of Ireland, he not only carries on two of the richest traditions of Celtic culture, but blends them in concert to create “a warm and magical performance”.

Friday March 2 will be an education in song featuring Sparky & Rhonda as they lead us through the chapters of civil rights in song.

Saturday March 10 is a new to us, seems like we've known him all along blues troubadour, Doug Macleod. He takes the audience on a wonderful journey through the lives of the songs.

Friday March 23 will be the debut of folk duo Dana & Sue Robinson whom I first heard of from a regular Webbie who is a fan of the warm folk stylings.

Friday March 30 brings the return of the incredible guitar fusion trio of Paul Richards, Bert Lams and Hideo Moriya as California Guitar Trio - this time we're making it into an extra special concert event with help from our good friends at Kryptonite Bar not only co-presenting but also providing a cash bar at the show! Come early and stay late to get the full effect of this incredible, amazing and other worldly trio. I know there are three of them: I can see and count them. However, when I close my eyes, the music they create together fools me into believing there is an entire orchestra on the stage for one song, a full-fledged rock band for another while simultaneously sounding like one single guitar: simply and truly incredible.
California Guitar Trio regularly sell out when the Web brings them to town so we've gone to a larger venue but I'd still recommend getting your tickets early and arriving early:)

Saturday April 14 is the debut performance of fiery foot-stomping country/gospel power duo Doug & Telisha Williams who first caught my ear at F.A.R.M. In October 2010.

Saturday April 21 is a new voice to Charlotte's Web but a solid favorite on the circuit, Claudia Nygaard, described by Rich Warren as a voice like amber honey.

Sunday May 6 brings bluegrass and time for Monroe Crossing to travel south out of Minnesota for a spell.
